We are new design brand from Korea. The brand meaning is Tree in August, and we motivate the image that just ordinary sunny August afternoon, take a rest and read a book under the tree planting alone in hill. For those of you who use August holds, the name of brand, we would love to be your tree in August. We are facing lots of stresses in congested and fast today life. Those stresses cause various diseases. August holds believes that changing physical circumstance can be a crucial role for releasing stresses. Changing physical circumstance will create a new life style. What our primary goal is constructing a space where takes a deep rest without any burden on shoulder. We are based on philosophy that material itself from nature is the best design. For supporting the philosophy, we emphasize three key words which are simple, slow, and natural. We use material close to nature, and to maximize highlighting material property, we choose the design methodology of harmonious rate of simple geometry and simple organic form. As inspiring fairy tale in the design, we create sentiment expressed in minimalism. In based on the philosophy, we pursue the unique design that has never been found. Not restricted by in 'function' form, but finding great pleasure in more interesting design. We design all life products to create 'only August Holds space', not only little props but also huge furniture.
